Challenging the perceptions
of ITV's long running soap.
ITV wanted to refresh the perceptions of Emmerdale by giving it a fresher, more contemporary feel to reflect the richness and diversity of its characters and storylines and, build on the show’s increasingly current content.
Emmerdale has a unique voice which needed to be reinforced in the identity system. A collection of new logos were created to reflect the different facets of the village and the surprising narrative aspects of Emmerdale. What you see isn’t always what you get, stories unravel and secrets are revealed.
The new identity, title sequences, iconography, communications materials
and merchandising for the show invites viewers to take a look underneath
the surface, seeing Emmerdale as a village of hidden depths and aspirational country living.
